New Delhi, June 27 -- Rajasthan Royals Director of Cricket Kumar Sangakkara believes teenage batting sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has the temperament and talent to become a major force in world cricket, saying the 15-year-old has remained grounded despite his rapid rise.

Sooryavanshi is currently on his maiden India tour in Ireland before heading to England for a five-match series. He earned his first national call-up after a sensational IPL season with Rajasthan Royals, where he scored 776 runs in 16 innings at a strike rate of 237.30, including 72 sixes. He also starred in India's Under-19 World Cup triumph with a match-winning 175 in the final.
