Dehradun, Sept. 18 -- Uttarakhand government today launched a hunt for identifying 100 major trekking and hiking routes, mainly in the hilly areas, to enhance the scope of adventure tourism in the state.
The beginning of hunt for new trekking routes took off after a team of experts was flagged off by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami for mapping and survey of the tracks. They will create a data base as Uttarakhand is set to become first state in the country to create an app to access the new hill treks.
