Uttarakhand's post SIR first draft electoral roll to be published in July

Dehradun, June 5 -- Election Commission today informed that Uttarakhand's first draft voter's list will be published on July 14, on completion of Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls.

More than eight lakh anomalies have been discovered by the EC in the recently concluded mapping of electorates in the state.

Sharing the information in Dehradun Additional Chief Electoral Officer of the state Dr Vijay Kumar Jogdande said that first draft electoral roll in the state post SIR will be published on July 14, 2026. He said that this will be base electoral roll after SIR 2026 even as process of adding new names in the list will continue.
