Dehradun, Sept. 10 -- Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president Nitin Nabin on Thursday urged the youth of Uttarakhand to come forward and take charge of creating opportunities in the state.
Nabin, who is on a two-day visit to the state, also asked the youth to join politics for building a strong nation.
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, speaking on the occasion, said his government has provided jobs to 34,000 youth during its tenure.
Addressing a gathering under "Yuva Samvad" (Youth Dialogue) programme organised by Uttarakhand BJP on the second day of his visit to Haldwani, the BJP national president said the involvement of the youth in providing opportunities for locals is very important for the Himalayan state.
