Hyderabad, Aug. 3 -- Telangana Irrigation and Civil Supplies Minister N Uttam Kumar Reddy on Monday directed officials to adopt a time-bound strategy to secure environmental clearances for the Palamuru-Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Scheme, Sitarama Sagar, Dindi and Gouravelli projects, following the recent Supreme Court judgment on environmental-clearance procedures.
At a high-level review meeting held at the Secretariat and attended by Ministers Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, Ponnam Prabhakar, and MP Balaram Naik, the Minister directed officials to complete all documentation and application processes within stipulated timelines and strive to secure project-specific environmental clearances within six months, wherever feasible.
