Hyderabad, June 12 -- Telangana Irrigation and Civil Supplies Minister Captain N. Uttam Kumar Reddy on Friday met Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai in Hyderabad and urged him to facilitate the issuance of a No Objection Certificate (NOC) for the ambitious Sammakka-Sarakka Lift Irrigation Scheme being developed along the Telangana-Chhattisgarh border.
Uttam Kumar accorded a formal welcome to the Chhattisgarh Chief Minister upon his arrival at a city hotel. He later held detailed discussions with him and senior engineering officials of the Telangana Irrigation Department.
