Hyderabad, May 24 -- Telangana Civil Supplies Minister N Uttam Kumar Reddy on Sunday directed officials to further expedite the paddy procurement process across the state to ensure farmers do not face any inconvenience or financial loss.
During a review meeting held through video conference, attended by Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, ministers and district collectors, Uttam Kumar Reddy said 141 lakh metric tonnes of paddy had been cultivated this season and the government had set a target to procure 75 lakh metric tonnes at Minimum Support Price (MSP).
