Zahedan, July 15 -- The US carried out a fourth consecutive night of strikes on Iran on Tuesday, targeting the area of Sistan and Baluchestan, the country's southeastern province bordering Pakistan.
A maritime traffic control centre in the port city of Chabahar was hit by a US projectile and sustained damage, according to Iran's state news agency IRNA, citing the Public Relations Department of the Sistan and Baluchestan Ports and Maritime Organisation.
The facility is primarily used for search-and-rescue operations involving fishermen at sea and for monitoring the security of maritime trade.
