New Delhi, March 25 -- The United States is sending thousands of elite soldiers to the Middle East as its standoff with Iran shows no sign of cooling and as Tehran continues to categoricallydeny that any negotiations with Washington are even happening.
The war is approaching its one-month mark, and the Trump administration has been busy on two fronts; replenishing weapons supplies to the region and floating a 30-day ceasefire proposal that includes a five-day halt on strikes against Iran's nuclear sites and energy infrastructure.
