Washington, May 9 -- The United States on Saturday imposed fresh sanctions targeting multiple entities accused of supporting Iran's military procurement network, including firms allegedly providing satellite imagery used to facilitate Iranian strikes against US and allied forces in the Middle East.
According to a fact sheet released by the US Department of State, four entities have been sanctioned for providing satellite imagery and related technical support that reportedly enabled Iranian military activities, including missile and drone operations. The US said such support poses a direct threat to American and partner forces in the region.
