Washington, Aug. 27 -- The United States imposed sanctions on three organisations and two individuals accused of supporting or facilitating violent far-left terrorism, targeting groups based in Italy and Britain as well as a transnational network.
The US Treasury Department said it had sanctioned Italy-based Autistici/Inventati, Britain-based Palestine Action and Masar Badil, which Washington described as a front for the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), a US-designated foreign terrorist organisation.
Two Masar Badil leaders, Rawa Alsagheer and Zaid Abdulnasser, were also sanctioned, the Treasury Department said.
