Washington, April 30 -- US Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth, while being grilled by Congress was asked by Democratic Rep. Chrissy Houlahan Wednesday how many more months does he expect the war against Iran to go on, and how many months are needed to "conclude operations successfully" against Iran.
"And how many more billions of dollars do you think you're going to ask this body for?" Houlahan added.
Evading the answer to the question, Hegseth merely replied that the US military would never reveal its intentions to an adversary about how long it would be committed to a mission, reports CBS News.
