Tehran, June 8 -- Iran on Monday held the United States responsible for the latest flare-up in tensions following major ceasefire violations and argued that the Tel Aviv regime's actions cannot be separated from Washington's policies.
The United States "bears responsibility" for Israel's actions, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei said Monday, according to the state-affiliated Tasnim news agency.
The US "bears responsibility as a party to the April 8 ceasefire understanding", Baqaei told reporters on Monday.
