Hyderabad, Aug. 24 -- US Ambassador to India Sergio Gor on Monday visited the Tata Lockheed Martin Aerostructures Limited (TLMAL) facility in Hyderabad, highlighting the growing defence and aerospace cooperation between India and the United States.
TLMAL, a joint venture between Tata Advanced Systems Limited (TASL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons, and Lockheed Martin, a Global defence Technology Company, has established capabilities to manufacture and scale production of critical aircraft structures for global aerospace programmes, the companies said.
During the visit, the Ambassador toured the production line manufacturing empennages for the C-130J Super Hercules aircraft, TASL said in a release here.
