Arti BaliNew Delhi, March 25 -- Efforts by US President Donald Trump to push forward a proposed 15-point peace framework with Iran are facing growing scepticism, with diplomats suggesting the plan may be similar to an earlier proposal that Tehran had already rejected in May 2025.
It is being speculated that the proposal put forward by Trump is the same or a similar draft presented by the US during nuclear talks in May 2025. Those negotiations collapsed shortly before US strikes targeted Iran's nuclear facilities.
