Hyderabad, June 15 -- : Fourteen jazz musicians from the United States and India will perform together at the RNR Auditorium in Film Nagar in the city on June 24 as part of "Swing City Jazz", a one-night-only concert that organisers describe as the first international big band jazz ensemble of its scale and calibre to perform in India.

The concert, conceived and curated by concert pianist Timothy Marthand, founder of ArtHome Foundation, will feature three American musicians and eleven leading Indian jazz artists performing in a traditional big band format comprising saxophones, trumpets, trombones, bass, grand piano, electric guitar and drums.
