Montevideo, Aug. 29 -- Uruguay and India will meet in a friendly during the next FIFA international window, the Uruguayan Football Association (AUF) said.

The match will be played in Kolkata on October 6 and will be Uruguay's third match under new manager Diego Forlan, the AUF said on social media.

The AUF had already confirmed away friendlies against Japan and South Korea in late September.

Former Uruguay striker Forlan was appointed interim manager of the Celeste earlier this month.
