Agartala, Aug. 28 -- The 20 designated urban areas of Tripura produce around 352.78 MT of solid waste daily, with 57.18 per cent of it processed scientifically, Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha said in the assembly on day.

Chief Minister, who also holds the Urban Development portfolio, in response to an unstarred question of BJP MLA Jahar Chakraborty and Congress MLA Sudip Roy Barman, informed the house that women's self-help groups have been integrated into the waste collection system on a ward-wise basis.
