Lucknow, March 11 -- Uttar Pradesh government has taken a major step to improve nutrition for children, pregnant women and lactating mothers.
Officials here on Wednesday said from April, a new 'Recipe-based supplementary nutrition system' will be implemented at Anganwadi centres across Uttar Pradesh. With this initiative, introduced under the Government of India guidelines and National Food Security Act, 2013, UP will become the first state in the country to implement such a system.
