Lucknow, March 12 -- Taking a strong stance on singer Badshah's controversial song "Tettiri", the Uttar Pradesh State Women's Commission Vice President, Aparna Yadav, has written to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, demanding a ban on the singer's concerts in the state.
The Commission stated that the album contains vulgar language and indecent scenes against women. The song depicts female students wearing school uniforms inappropriately and addresses the sacred institution of school in derogatory terms. According to the Commission, this is not only against the dignity of women but also an insult to the education system and social values.
