UP social welfare department is advancing use of AI, launching new initiatives from education to schemes

Lucknow, Sept. 9 -- The Uttar Pradesh government is emphasising making public welfare schemes more effective, transparent, and technology-based.

In this regard, the Social Welfare Department is joining the state's leadership in promoting the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Officials here on Wednesday said the department has begun its efforts in the field of education. The use of AI-based technologies has already begun in Sarvodaya Vidyalayas, and now steps are being taken to incorporate AI into various public welfare schemes.
