Varanasi, April 4 -- Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday announced that from this month, Shikshamitras will receive an honorarium of Rs 18,000, and instructors will receive Rs 17,000 per month.
Until now, Shikshamitras were receiving only Rs 10,000 and instructors only Rs 9,000 per month.
This hike, already announced during the budget session of the state legislature, will benefit 1.70 lakh Shikshamitras and 24,000 instructors.
