Lucknow, July 3 -- Uttar Pradesh has set a new national record by achieving the most effective performance in the country during the 100-day 'TB-free India campaign' towards realising Prime Minister Narendra Modi's pledge for a TB-free India.

Under the guidance of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and leadership of Deputy Chief Minister Brijesh Pathak, the state government has developed an exemplary model for TB elimination by combining strong political will, effective administrative leadership, modern technological interventions, and widespread public participation.
