Nabadwip, April 25 -- Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday invoked Bengal's historical legacy to argue that the state requires a decisive political shift towards a BJP-led double-engine government.

Addressing an election rally in Nabadwip of Nadia district n support of BJP candidate Shruti Shekhar Goswami, Adityanath referred to Bengal's intellectual, spiritual and nationalist heritage, citing figures such as Raja Ram Mohan Roy, Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar, Swami Vivekananda and Subhas Chandra Bose.
