Lucknow, Feb. 28 -- Just ahead of International Women's Day on March 8, the Uttar Pradesh government has launched a major campaign to ensure dignity, safety and convenience for girl students.
Under the leadership of CM Yogi Adityanath, directions have been issued to make all toilets constructed in government schools fully functional in 42 districts of the state, including Unnao, Kanpur Nagar, Raebareli, Ayodhya and Rampur.
State Chief Secretary S P Goyal, during a high-level review meeting on Saturday, clearly stated that by March 8, all school toilets must be in usable condition.
