Lucknow, Sept. 8 -- Uttar Pradesh government will organise district-level distribution camps to provide eligible persons with disabilities with various types of assistive devices and prosthetic limbs permitted under different schemes from September 17.
Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Directorate, Lucknow, has issued necessary guidelines to all District Disability Empowerment Officers.
According to officials here on Tuesday, in the first phase of the distribution program, a total of 75 districts have been divided into two groups.
In the first group, the date for organising distribution camps in 41 districts has been fixed on September 17.
