Lucknow, Oct. 11 -- The Uttar Pradesh government has begun preparations to ensure clean, safe and improved urban amenities for residents across the state during the upcoming Dussehra, Diwali and other festivals.
UP Urban Development and Energy Minister Arvind Kumar Sharma has directed the concerned officials to complete all arrangements on time and ensure an uninterrupted power supply.
The Energy Minister has instructed all urban local bodies across the state to ensure extensive cleanliness drives, pothole-free roads, proper drainage, waste disposal, fogging, anti-larval spraying and adequate street lighting.
