Lucknow, May 14 -- The policies of the Uttar Pradesh government and the transparent, technology-based system have created history by ensuring record sugarcane price payments worth Rs 3,21,963 crore to sugarcane farmers from 2017 till now.
The payment amount is being transferred directly into the bank accounts of farmers, thereby eliminating the role of middlemen as well.
