Lucknow, Oct. 6 -- The Uttar Pradesh government has increased the monthly honorarium of Shiksha Mitras by 80pc, raising it from Rs 10,000 to Rs 18,000 and benefiting 1,27,841 workers under the Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan.
The state has released Rs 460.23 crore for the enhanced honorarium for September and October of the 2026-27 academic session, with district-wise allocations issued to ensure timely payments. District-wise funds have been determined for the payment of honorarium for both months.
An amount of Rs 230.11 crore has been determined for the honorarium for September and Rs 230.11 crore for October.
