Lucknow, July 20 -- The Uttar Pradesh government has achieved significant milestones in the field of maternal and newborn health.
In the last three months, all deliveries in 16 districts of the state have taken place in health institutions. Not a single non-institutional (home or other) delivery was recorded in these districts during this period.
This achievement of the Yogi government is considered a result of the increased accessibility of the state's health services, public awareness, and the coordinated efforts of health workers towards safe motherhood.
