Lucknow, June 3 -- Uttar Pradesh Energy Minister Arvind Kumar Sharma has expressed displeasure over complaints of contractual workers being removed from their jobs in the Electricity Department.
He has given clear instructions to departmental officials that no contractual worker should be removed from their jobs without proper and valid reasons.
The Energy Minister stated that contractual workers play a vital role in maintaining the smooth and uninterrupted power supply system in the state. Therefore, their interests and rights should not be ignored.
He urged officials to adopt a sensitive and humane approach to matters related to contractual workers.
