Lucknow, May 14 -- : Following the appeal by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the UP government has started implementing initiatives such as reducing convoys to save fuel.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has decided to reduce the fleet of his convoy, ministers, and senior officials by 50 percent in Uttar Pradesh.
The UP assembly has postponed all its committee tours and decided to have online committee meetings. In continuation of this, Chairman of the Legislative Council, Kunwar Manvendra Singh, has postponed all previously scheduled tour programmes of the Committees of the Council until further orders.
