Lucknow, May 24 -- Uttar Pradesh is witnessing a major transformation in basic education, with a comprehensive campaign underway to convert council schools into modern, smart, and technology-driven learning centers rather than merely focusing on buildings and enrolment.
Government schools, once known for dilapidated infrastructure and lack of basic amenities, are now building a new identity under the 'Yogi Model'.
Official sources here on Sunday said one of the major achievements of the Uttar Pradesh government, 'Operation Kayakalp', has significantly transformed the condition of council schools across the state. So far, 1.32 lakh schools have been covered under the campaign.
