Lucknow, Sept. 24 -- Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that during previous governments, pistols and bombs were manufactured in Lucknow, but now the BrahMos missile is being manufactured in the city.
On Thursday, Mr. Yogi performed the groundbreaking ceremony for two ambitious housing projects of the Lucknow Development Authority (LDA), Varun Vihar and Naimish Nagar, with a combined estimated cost of Rs 12,000 crore.
He said that both projects will be developed on 10,680 acres of land. Varun Vihar will be developed on 6,500 acres and is expected to accommodate six lakh people, while Naimish Nagar will be developed on 4,100 acres for four lakh people.
