Lucknow, April 10 -- Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday expressed deep sorrow over the tragic boat accident in the Yamuna River in Mathura district.
Describing the incident as extremely saddening and heart-wrenching, the Chief Minister conveyed his condolences to the bereaved families of those who lost their lives.
In his message on the social media platform X, the Chief Minister wrote, "The loss of lives in the accident is deeply painful. I pray to Lord Rama for peace to the departed souls, strength to the grieving families to bear this loss, and a speedy recovery for the injured."He has directed the officials concerned to immediately reach the site and carry out rescue and relief operations at a swift pace.
