Lucknow, May 25 -- Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav on Monday attended the Trayodashi Sanskar ceremony held for the peace of the soul of the late Prateek Yadav at the residence of Aparna Yadav, Vice President of the State Women's Commission, in Lucknow.
Chief Minister Adityanath stayed for around 20 minutes. He paid tributes to the departed soul and expressed condolences to the bereaved family.
SP president Akhilesh Yadav, along with his wife Dimple and children, too, were present for the occasion. Prateek Yadav was the half-brother (step-brother) of Akhilesh Yadav. He was the younger son of the late SP founder Mulayam Singh Yadav and his second wife, Sadhana Gupta.
