Ghaziabad, July 18 -- Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday met the family of deceased Meerut Dalit student Lalita Gautam at the Public Works Department (PWD) guest house in Ghaziabad and expressed his condolences.
He assured the family that no one found responsible in the case would be spared and that the strictest possible action would be taken against all accused in accordance with the law.
The Chief Minister directed officials to take strict action against any officers or employees found guilty of negligence at any stage of the investigation.
He also instructed officials to effectively pursue the case and take all necessary legal steps to ensure the strictest punishment for those responsible.
