Lucknow, June 6 -- : The Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA) has cancelled the land allotments of three companies allotted land in the Aligarh Phase-1 Defence Node of the Uttar Pradesh Defence Industrial Corridor.
This action was taken due to the companies' failure to commence construction and industrial activities even after nearly five years.
According to UPPEIDA here on Saturday, this step was taken in accordance with the state government's policy to ensure timely investment, accountability, and effective utilization of land reserved for defense and aerospace manufacturing.
