Lucknow, July 21 -- The Uttar Pradesh Cabinet on Tuesday approved four major infrastructure projects to strengthen the state's expressway network, including two new link expressways, the Vindhya Expressway and the Vindhya-Purvanchal Spur Link.
The state Cabinet cleared the revised and final Request for Proposal (RFP) for two Greenfield link expressways connecting the Agra-Lucknow Expressway with the Purvanchal and Ganga Expressways, along with the alignment of the Vindhya Expressway and the Vindhya-Purvanchal Spur Link.
According to Finance Minister Suresh Kumar Khanna, the 50.98-km six-lane (expandable to eight lanes) Greenfield Link Expressway connecting the Agra-Lucknow Expressway to the Purvanchal Expressway will be built under the EP...
