Lucknow, June 25 -- The BJP's new 49-member Uttar Pradesh executive committee was announced on Thursday by state president Pankaj Chaudhary.
An attempt has been made to maintain caste and regional balance by giving opportunities to several new faces in the organization. The new BJP team will lead the party in the coming 2027 assembly polls in the state.
Nineteen leaders, including Suresh Rana and Niraj Singh, have been appointed state vice presidents, while 7 leaders have been appointed to the post of general secretary, considered the backbone of the organization.
Rampratap Singh Chauhan, Geeta Shakya, Abhijat Mishra, Sanjay Rai, Shankar Lodhi, Dilip Patel, and Rajesh Chaudhary have been appointed state general secretaries.
