Bareilly, June 16 -- A 21-year-old leader of Rashtriya Hindu Mahasabha (India) was shot dead in Bareilly district of Uttar Pradesh.

According to reports, four people, known to the victim, stopped him about 50 meters from his home on Monday late at night, and shot him in the temple with a pistol.

The young man fell to the ground after being shot. The accused fled the scene after the incident. Hearing the gunshot, family members and nearby residents rushed to the scene. The injured man was taken to the hospital in critical condition, where doctors declared him dead.
