Jaunpur, March 26 -- Uttar Pradesh Police on Wednesday arrested two individuals for allegedly generating railway e-tickets using fake Aadhaar cards and unauthorised software.
According to Additional Superintendent of Police (City) Ayush Srivastava, the arrests were made as part of an ongoing drive against crime under the direction of Senior Superintendent of Police Kunwar Anupam Singh. The operation was carried out by the Kotwali police team led by Inspector Vishwanath Pratap Singh.
The accused have been identified as Roshan Yadav and Mohit Yadav, both residents of the Kerakat police station area in Jaunpur district. Police said the duo used forged Aadhaar cards along with "Tesla software" to create fraudulent e-tickets.
