Barabanki, Feb. 21 -- A six-year-old boy was killed after being run over by a speeding car in Uttar Pradesh's Barabanki district today evening, police said.
The accident occurred on the Daryabad Road in Mahmoodabad town under the Safdarganj police station limits.
The victim, Divyanshu Yadav (6), a resident of Noorganj Hamidnagar village, had come to Mahmoodabad market with his mother, Sunita, to buy clothes. The market is located about two kilometres from their village.
