Badaun, June 17 -- Six women were killed and three others injured in a tragic road accident in the Ujhani police station area on Wednesday.
The women were going to their relative's residence to give an invitation card for a marriage.
The deceased included the groom's mother, his sister, two sisters-in-law, and a neighbour.
According to eyewitnesses, two tractors were racing on the Bareilly-Mathura highway. A speeding tractor-trolley hit an e-rickshaw. The impact was so severe that the tractor-trolley crushed the e-rickshaw.
