UP: Security at Kashi Vishwanath Dham will be further strengthened

Varanasi, May 22 -- Several important decisions have been taken to further strengthen the security arrangements at Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham.

Additional Director of Intelligence (IB), Vineeta Sharma, Police Commissioner of Varanasi Commissionerate Mohit Agarwal, and Additional Director General of Police (Security) Tarun Gaba visited the Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham area on Thursday to inspect the security arrangements and public amenities.

Later in the evening, they held a discussion with Divisional Commissioner of Varanasi Division S. Rajalingam, ADG Zone Piyush Mordia, District Magistrate Varanasi Satyendra Kumar, and other senior officials, and discussed about the enhanced security measures.
