Ayodhya/ Lucknow, June 21 -- The Special Investigation Team's (SIT) preliminary probe has found the roles of two temple Trust office-bearers to be suspicious in the alleged theft of donations from Ayodhya's Ram Temple in Uttar Pradesh.
The three-member SIT, which returned to Lucknow from Ayodhya on Saturday, is likely to submit its report to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday. Subsequently, action may be taken against the guilty and those held responsible.
The SIT, constituted on June 13, had arrived in Ayodhya on June 15 to conduct the investigation.
The SIT report, which runs over 70 pages, has been prepared.
