Lucknow, Sept. 16 -- Bhim Army chief and Azad Samaj Party (Kanshi Ram) president and Nagina MP Chandrashekhar Azad has alleged that a conspiracy is being hatched to assassinate him and urged the government to conduct a thorough investigation into the matter.
In a video message, Azad claimed that a plan to kill him has been discussed at a farmhouse. He said he is not making the allegation without information and called for an impartial probe to establish the facts.
"Death is inevitable one day and one cannot live in fear. I will not back down out of fear," Azad said. He added that if he comes to power, criminals would be dealt with firmly.
