Lucknow, July 28 -- Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati has welcomed the stay on the demolition of 38 educational buildings at Mohammad Ali Jauhar University in Rampur, calling the decision appropriate.
She appealed to the Uttar Pradesh government to adopt a policy of regularising educational institutions in accordance with the rules instead of bulldozing them in cases of violations, so that the future of students is not affected.
