Lakhimpur Kheri, March 3 -- A 14-year-old boy was allegedly killed in a leopard attack in Lakhimpur Kheri district, police and forest officials said on Tuesday.

The incident took place under the Tikunia police station limits, about 75 km from the district headquarters.

The victim, identified as Raj Kamal, a resident of Jasnagar village, had gone out for a walk on Monday evening but did not return home. His family searched for him throughout the night. On Tuesday morning, his body was found in a field about 2 km from his house near Khairatiya village.

According to villagers, the boy had deep wounds on his neck and multiple claw and bite marks on his body, indicating a wild animal attack. Officials from the forest department and local poli...
