Lucknow, July 11 -- The Uttar Pradesh government has launched a major crackdown in Agra, conducting simultaneous raids on 13 pharmaceutical firms as part of its ongoing campaign against counterfeit and illegal drug trade.
According to officials today, suspect, counterfeit, and government-supplied drugs worth more than Rs 3.63 crore have been seized so far in this operation, and the process of filing three new First Information Reports has been initiated.
Teams of 15 drug inspectors, led by Food Safety and Drug Administration (FSDA) Commissioner Dr. Roshan Jacob, conducted simultaneous raids in various markets across Agra.
